Sometimes things aren’t what they seem. You think you know your co-workers and then something happens that makes them feel a certain way towards you that you never intended. The air is different. The dynamics change. And although you don’t want to be part of the new dynamic, a part of you wants to feel that you belong. And you’re fighting with yourself.
Concentrate on your own work. Don’t get hung over the fact when your boss isn’t here your team plays around and barely gets anything done. Don’t be sad about the people who you once thought could be friends, are no longer friends. You’ve always thought they weren’t really friends of yours anyways, right?
Get real. Do what you need to do in order to be a better person. Don’t get hung up over people who no longer care.
Grow up. Do right.
